Nadin has been described as a 20th century renaissance man at home in the humanities and in science. His education is interdisciplinary and so is his work. With advanced degrees in philosophy and technology (electronic engineering and computer science), Nadin offers his knowledge and experience to students, colleagues and the public through courses, lectures, writing, and consulting.

In over 30 years of activity, Professor Nadin has written 21 books (including fiction), 3 plays, 82 articles in books, 145 articles in journals, and various book reviews and newspaper articles. The subjects covered extend from the arts, aesthetics, philosophy, semiotics, to digital media, communications, mind, education, and human-machine interaction and anticipation.
